Cyber Threat Intelligence roles – alignment to other Cyber roles?

If we think about the skills/capabilities required for a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst (analysing threat actors and campaigns), is it more similar to that of a Pen Tester, someone in Incident Response or in Forensics? Another way to think about it – what would be the easiest role to go into, to then move into a Cyber Threat Intelligence role?

Likewise, would also love to hear any insights on IAM roles – is there a natural alignment with other Cyber roles in terms of skills/capabilities required?

Would appreciate all thoughts/insights! Also, I don't work in this space so apologies if this is an obvious question :).
