Securing paid service secured by API key

My public website calls an API1 in my backend that calls an external API2 for a paid service. The paid service requires an API key and that API key is on my server. How can i make sure that only my java client can call API1? I want to avoid a situation where someone uses postman to call the API1 which would result in me paying for the subsequent calls to API 2?
